Ann Arbor Blues and Jazz Festival
Ann Arbor Blues and Jazz Festival is a music festival in August in Ann Arbor, Michigan, that started in 1972 from the Ann Arbor Blues Festival, which itself began in 1969.
The Blues and Jazz Festival is a volunteer non-profit 501 event. What began as an outdoor concert became a full weekend of blues and jazz events. In addition to the daytime festival, evenings offered a choice of indoor (seated) concerts and live jazz in a club setting.

WC Handy Blues & BBQ Fest
The W.C. Handy Blues & Barbecue Festival in Henderson, KY, is one of the largest free music festivals in the nation. The festival is a celebration of the life and legacy of Henderson resident and “Father of the Blues,” William Christopher Handy (see page: https://www.doggoneblues.nl/zzui-w-c-handy-father-of-the-blues/).
The festival books some of the hottest national and local blues talent each year. The opening day of the festival is highlighted by the “Taste of Henderson Barbecue” where you can enjoy barbecue sold by local vendors and listen to great live music in Henderson’s scenic Audubon Mill Park.
Music continues every night from Wednesday evening to Saturday night. There are a host of other events throughout the week as well, including a Mardi Gras-style Street Strut & Street Strut 5K Run, Handy Lunch Breaks & Happy Hours at local eateries and much more.

The Pittsburgh Blues and Roots Festival
The Pittsburgh Blues and Roots Festival is an American music festival that features local and nationally renowned blues musicians in performance in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It is one of the region's "marquee annual concerts."
The inaugural event is held in July at Hartwood Acres Park and at the Iron City Brewing Company factory.

French Quarter Festival
French Quarter Festival is a free, annual music festival held in early April, located in the historic French Quarter of New Orleans, Louisiana. The festival started in 1984, the festival features primarily New Orleans music, as well as food from dozens of New Orleans restaurants.
During French Quarter Festival, more than 20 stages throughout the French Quarter perform local music and represent genres from traditional and contemporary jazz to R&B, New Orleans funk, brass bands, folk, gospel, Latin, Zydeco, classical, cabaret, and international.

The Highland Jazz & Blues Festival
The Highland Jazz & Blues Festival is an annual music and arts event that takes place in Shreveport, Louisiana, United States. It is held on the third Saturday of September at Columbia Park, a city park located in the historic Highland neighborhood.
The festival (started in 2003) is a nonprofit event meant to contribute to the ongoing growth of the neighborhood in which it's held. There is no admission charge.

Cincy Blues Fest
Cincy Blues Fest (started in 1992) is an annual blues music festival, held on the banks of the Ohio River in Cincinnati, Ohio, United States.
The Fest is held every summer (last July weekend - first weekend August) at Sawyer Point Park, on the banks of the Ohio River, in Cincinnati.
The festival consists of three to four stages running simultaneously in different parts of the park.

Boundary Waters Blues Festival
Boundary Waters Blues Festival is a blues music festival in St. Louis County, Minnesota. It was established in 2001 by Michael Jankovec—host of a blues radio show in Ely, Minnesota—and Deb Pettit and Doug Brown of Timber Wolf Lodge. Jankovec continues to run the festival, which occurs on the Labor Day (1 September) weekend. The official host of the event is Boundary Waters Radio.
