Switzerland's longest-running blues festival. Blues to Bop celebrated blues music in Lugano since 1988. Every summer Blues to Bop offers a rich and varied program of concerts with local and international performers in the city's squares, traditional meeting places.

Notodden Blues Festival, Norway, 1988
Notodden Blues Festival (NBF) is one of the largest blues music festivals in Europe and the largest in Scandinavia. The festival is held in Notodden, Norway, usually the first weekend August.
Since 1988 the festival became one of Norway's most popular music festivals.
The festival does not aim to be the biggest of its type, but to become Europe's "largest blues experience", which is reflected in their emphasis on quality over quantity.

Baltic Blues Festival, Eutin, Germany, 1989
The Eutin Open Air is one of the largest and most important festivals in the European blues scene. Every year, up to 15,000 visitors are enthralled and fascinated by the top-class programs and the musicians from all over the world.
The location is the historic Eutin marketplace, which provides a very special atmosphere with its special ambience. In addition, there is the brewery opposite the stage, where great club concerts and sessions are held on several days after the program ends on the market square.
The event does not charge admission fees.

Harvest Time Blues, Monaghan, Ireland, 1990
Harvest Time Blues (also referred to as the Monaghan Rhythm and Blues Festival) is an annual music festival held in Monaghan town, in Ireland. Since its launch in 1990, it has been described as "one of Ireland's leading live music festivals".
The festival takes place in Monaghan town, with venues located across the town, and a main stage typically located in a large marquee in the New Road/Glen Road car park. Pubs across the town play host to smaller gigs in what is collectively known as the "Blues Trail".

August Blues Festival is a blues music festival held in Haapsalu in the first weekend in August, Estonia since 1994.
The festival takes place mainly inside the walls of Haapsalu Castle. It is the biggest blues festival in the Baltic states.
Besides Estonian blues musicians, there have been guests from United States and elsewhere.
