Kwadendamme Bluesfestival, Zeeland (1993)
In terms of atmosphere, the festival site resembles blues festivals from the past; a large tent in the shadow of the church tower of a pleasant village, surrounded by a campsite where many loyal visitors camp.
The Zeeland village of Kwadendamme, with approximately 950 inhabitants, is flooded by more than 1,200 blues lovers from home and abroad in the second weekend of May. The entire village is then dedicated to the blues and even the church participates in this with a gospel mass.
The entire village is transformed into a large camping site with the festival tent on the football field as its centrepiece. It seems like a reunion of a large blues family that has come for a party with good music, conviviality and atmosphere.
New Blues Festival Assen, De Bonte Wever, Assen (2017)
The New Blues Festival is held in the theater of De Bonte Wever in Assen. The festival started in 2012 and has now acquired a great status among fans of quality music.

Amersfoort World Jazz Festival is a jazz and world music festival in Amersfoort city center. The concerts take place both indoors and in public spaces. The festival is held annually during the summer months and attracts tens of thousands of visitors. Amersfoort Jazz aims at Living Legends, young talent and a broad international network of jazz musicians and professionals. The festival is also known as the Musicians' Paradise. The festival has been organized since 1979 and until 2021 was completely free to attend. Nowadays, admission fees are charged from the audience for a number of concerts.
