  • Norwegian band Pristine no. 2 in European Blues Challenge 15 april 2014
    Pristine from Tromsø, Norway won 2nd price in the European Blues Challenge in Riga, Latvia April 11-12th. This was the fourth time for the band competition, which this year had participants from 18 different countries in Europe. The winner of the Challenge 2014 was the Spanish band A Contra Blues.
  • Ruf's Blues Caravan in Norway 12 maart 2014
    For the first time there is a Norwegian musician in the German project, Ruf's Blues Caravan. Christina Skjolberg, the singer and guitar player from the Norwegian west coast, is together with British Laurence Jones and American Albert Castiglia fronting the caravan which had their first appearance in Norway in March.
  • Notodden Roadshow to baptise the Blues House 13 december 2013
    December 13 is the opening of the brand new, majestic Blues House and Library at Notodden. The opening ceremony takes place at 17.00.   • Christina signed to RUF Records 12 november 2013
    Norwegian Christina Skjølberg recently signed a contract with the German record company RUF Records. The contract includes a record deal and a touring contract with RUF'S Blues Caravan. Former artists in the up and coming category that has toured with the 'caravan' is Ana Popovic, Oli Brown, Erja Lyytinen and Joanne Shaw Taylor.
